Windsinger is a really good and tense third book in the Darkhaven series. It is full of politics, action, murder and an intriguing story. However, it did feel slow to /5(5). The Windsinger is one of those books which is both a children's book and a YA book.

Set in the fictional city of Well this sure takes me back. The Windsinger is the first novel in the trilogy titled 'Winds on Fire' and it was one of my favourite books growing up/5.

The Wind Singer was Windsinger book first book I ever read and truly enjoyed. I later was introduced to Harry Potter, but could never let this book come second to them. For anyone who has recently read the Hunger Games and enjoyed the story, I have a feeling you will enjoy this book as well/5().

The Windsinger is one of the First Four, along with The Earthshaker, The Flamecaller, and The were the first of the Eleven to be birthed into the world. He and the rest of the Four decided to end the magical chaos that had birthed them, spending the next few millennia forming the world into their own tal Flight: Wind.

Especially if you are ordering a used book pay attention to the title and description, (and just to make it more challenging, there are multiple editions of each title). This is a /5(24). Mumpo is the lonely character in the book.

Windsinger book doesn't have a family, and has the lowest rating in the class. Mumpo likes Kestrel very much, and when he finds out that she is in trouble, he decides to help Bowman and Kestrel when they plan to escape Aramanth to find the voice of the wind singer, but then decides to join them on their quest.

The Wind Singer is an amazing children's book that doesn't have to be just for children. It is emotional and unique, not a rehashed story that's already been told. It is a fantasy story, though I think it falls more in the realm of dystopic fiction, without the harsh, futuristicness that is so often encountered in that genre.

Windsinger is a really good and tense third book in the Darkhaven series. It is full of politics, action, murder and an intriguing story. However, it did feel slow to /5(7). Windsinger is Gary Smith's memoir, and something more. Accompanied by his photographs and lyrics, Smith's narrative ranges wide and deep.

Through a farm outside Payette, Gary Smith is looked upon in the mountain West as a kind of Renaissance man: mountaineer, folksinger, writer, and photographer, advocate and champion of the Canyonlands of Utah /5(18). The Wind Singer (Wind on Fire) “I hate school. I hate ratings. I won’t reach higher.

I won’t strive harder. I won’t make tomorrow better than today!”. Honestly, The Wind Singer is a book which shows the level of confidence an individual can hold. It is a must-read story!. • Buy this book at the Guardian Bookshop. Get this from a library. Windsinger. [Frances Gillmor] COVID Resources.
